Cécile is not only a seasoned professional; she is above all a woman of heart.
After graduating from Sciences-Po and completing a Master’s degree in Political Sociology, she spent a year at Oxford (Worcester College), where she fell under the charm of England. With a Doctorate in Psychology from Paris VII and 27 years of experience as a psychoanalyst and coach in personal and leadership development, she has developed expertise in human relationships in general and in love in particular.
She is the creator of the concept of Psychoethics, which defines a set of guiding principles that constitute the loving ecosystem necessary for the growth of vital energy within us, leading to joy. She has authored several books, including The Secrets of Joy (Eyrolles), and co-wrote with Nathalie Jouclas Empathy at School (Eyrolles, 2025). She also founded the Institute of Psychoethics, through which she teaches and provides guidance in joy and empathy across multiple fields, from couple relationships to management, leadership, and education.
Cécile also writes and performs shows on joy and love, which she stages and shares with her company Pépites de Joie. Her upcoming productions at the 2025 Avignon Festival include La Joie dans l’Air, Rêve de Lou, and Allo! Ici la vie!
